Energy Saving in the Home

Energy Saving in the Home

With energy prices rising significantly in recent times, reducing our energy consumption and bills is on all of our minds. Please find below some helpful advice on ways that you can do this, whilst reducing your carbon footprint at the same time.

What is an EPC?

An EPC is an Energy Performance Certificate. It helps you to understand the energy performance of your home and gives it a rating from A-G (A is the most efficient). This enables you to identify areas where your homes energy performance could be improved. Making changes to areas that are identified in your EPC as performing poorly can help you to reduce your emissions and save money.
